Terms and Conditions

1. Contest Organizer

The 2025 Door Prize Draw (“the Contest”) is organized by the Sudbury & District Home Builders’ Association in partnership with Eastlink.

2. Eligibility

• Open to legal residents of Ontario who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

• Contest is not open to employees, board members, or immediate family members of the Sudbury & District Home Builders’ Association, Eastlink, or their affiliates.

3. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase is required to enter or win.

4. How to Enter

• Attendees of the 2025 Home, Renovation & Style Show can enter by scanning the official QR code and completing the entry form on the event website.

• Participants must subscribe to the Sudbury & District Home Builders’ Association newsletter at the time of entry by checking the opt-in box on the form.

• Only one entry per person is allowed. Duplicate or fraudulent entries will be disqualified.

5. Prize

• The prize consists of a package valued at over $1,000. The prize is not redeemable for cash, non-transferable, and must be accepted as awarded.

• The winner will be selected by random draw following the close of the event and must correctly answer a skill-testing question to claim the prize, as required by Canadian law.

6. Winner Notification

• The selected winner will be contacted via the email provided on the entry form within 7 business days of the draw.

• If the winner does not respond within 7 days or fails to answer the skill-testing question, another entrant may be selected.

7. Consent to Use of Personal Information

• By entering, participants agree to the collection and use of their personal information for the purpose of administering the Contest and contacting the winner.

• Entrants also agree to receive promotional communications from the Sudbury & District Home Builders’ Association. You may unsubscribe at any time.

• Participant information may be shared with Eastlink and other official sponsors, but will not be sold or used outside the scope of this event and related promotional activities.

• All data will be handled in accordance with Ontario’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

8. Limitation of Liability

The Contest Organizer is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries, or for any technical malfunction or failure. The Contest Organizer reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Contest if fraud or technical failures compromise its integrity.

9. General Conditions

• By entering the Contest, participants agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions and the decisions of the Contest Organizer, which are final and binding.

• The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws.
